The Saudi energy ministry’s Renewable Energy Project Development Office (Repdo) has received four bids for a 400MW wind farm at Dumat Al Jandal near the Kuwaiti border in the northern Al-Jawf region.

The bidders are Saudi private energy developer Acwa Power, Italy’s Enel, and French firms EDF and Engie, according to Bloomberg. 25 firms were originally qualified last year (MEES, 1 September 2017). (CONTINUED - 203 WORDS)
