Oman LNG on 30 January signed a binding term-sheet agreement with Turkish state-firm Botas to supply up to 1mn t/y of LNG from 2025. The deal runs for ten years to 2035 and will see Oman regularly exporting LNG to Turkey for the first time. It is just the latest in a flurry of new sales deals for Oman as it seeks to replace its existing deals which all expire by end-2026.

Oman LNG has 9mn t/y of long-term deals currently in force, all of which will expire by the end of 2026, with the majority (5.85mn t/y) set to expire by the end of 2024. (CONTINUED - 849 WORDS)
