Oman LNG signed two new LNG supply deals this week for a combined 1.6mn t/y. The “binding term sheet agreements” with TotalEnergies and Thailand’s PTT build on recent deals for 3.15mn t/y signed since late-December (MEES, 13 January).

In an 18 January announcement, Oman’s Ministry of Energy confirmed that TotalEnergies will take 800,000 t/y for ten years from 2025, while PTT will take 800,000 t/y for nine years from 2026 – both deals will expire in 2035. (CONTINUED - 338 WORDS)
