Abu Dhabi state offtaker Ewec has announced plans for the 1.5GW Al Ajban solar PV Independent Power Project (IPP). Ewec currently operates the 1.18GW Noor solar PV plant, while the 2GW Al Dhafra solar PV plant is due online next year. Once operational, the trio will provide combined capacity of 4.68GW.
The emirate also has two smaller operational solar plants – the 100MW Shams CSP plant and the 10MW Masdar PV plant. (CONTINUED - 819 WORDS)
