Norwegian independent DNO has raised production from its operated Tawke oil field in Iraqi Kurdistan to a record 129,000 b/d after bringing on two new horizontal wells.

The output surge was achieved on 5 March after the start of production from two newly completed horizontal wells at a combined 37,000 b/d, the Oslo-listed company said on 17 March.
