UAE firms Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum are set to boost gas output in Iraqi Kurdistan by more than 300mn cfd next year. The pair say they are accelerating work to add 250mn cfd via the KM250 project at their 500mn cfd-capacity Khor Mor gas field by 1Q 2026, and have initiated appraisal activities at nearby Chemchemal, where they target 70mn cfd of initial output in 2026 (see map & MEES, 4 April).

KM250 will bring Khor Mor’s capacity to 750mn cfd, solidifying its position as Iraq’s largest non-associated gas field. And with the Chemchemal addition on top, combined output is set to exceed 800mn cfd by the end of next year (see chart). (CONTINUED - 1669 WORDS)
