In an increasingly frequent campaign of airstrikes against the Houthis in Yemen, Israel again struck sites in the Houthi-controlled capital of Sana’a and the nearby al-Jawf region on 10 September. According to local media reports and the IDF, airstrikes hit military camps including Houthi military media buildings, government buildings in al-Jawf, and a Yemen Petroleum Company fuel depot previously struck in August (MEES, 29 August).
Israeli strikes follow a campaign of Houthi drone and missile attacks on Israel including an 8 September attack in which projectiles struck Ramon Airport in the southern port city of Eilat.
