Israel’s gas exports are setting new highs, posting back-to-back quarterly records over the first half of 2022, driven largely by neighboring Egypt’s thirst for gas. Overall Q2 exports from Israel’s two producing fields, the 22.7tcf Leviathan and 10.5tcf Tamar, to both Egypt and Jordan, totaled 928mn cfd, up 12% on the previous quarter’s record (see chart 1).
