Oman has announced that it will establish a new state-owned company Hydrogen Development Oman (HDO) to manage the sultanate’s involvement in the growing number of low-carbon hydrogen projects being planned in the country.

Local media reports that it is expected that HDO will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oman’s state-owned Energy Development Oman, which was itself formed in December 2020 to oversee Oman’s energy assets. (CONTINUED - 723 WORDS)
