Iraq’s acting Minister of Electricity Adil Kareem said on 11 August that supplies of Iranian electricity had been totally suspended with ministry spokesperson Ahmed Musa putting the losses at 2.6GW. This comes amid intensifying attacks on power transmission lines by ISIS. The group claims to have conducted more than 130 such attacks since 6 June.
