Saudi integrated petroleum firm Aramco has confirmed that its long-delayed 400,000 b/d refinery project at Jazan, on the Red Sea coast in the remote southwest of the kingdom, is now expected to start up in the first quarter of 2021.

Aramco chief executive Amin Nasser told a quarterly earnings call on 10 August that the company expects to start processing crude at the plant in 1Q21 at an initial rate of 200,000 b/d before ramping up to full capacity. (CONTINUED - 352 WORDS)
