Aramco Trading Co (ATC) has sold almost 10mn barrels of oil stored around Malaysia for processing at the 300,000 b/d Pengerang joint venture refinery.
The much-delayed plant briefly started up in April 2019 but shut down shortly afterwards because of a fire in the atmospheric residue desulfurization unit. In March this year a diesel hydrotreater explosion and fire killed five workers (MEES, 20 March). There has been no sign of a restart since. (CONTINUED - 182 WORDS)
