UAE Energy Minister Suhail al-Mazrouei was clear in his opening speech at this week’s Atlantic Council Global Energy Forum in Abu Dhabi. “With all of the good work that we are doing at Opec, and Opec+, we are optimistic that our efforts are going to continue and that 2020 is going to be a good year.”

Speaking on 11 January, the UAE minister highlighted his views on the supply/demand balance this year. “From a demand point of view, I am not worried. I am worried about either lack of supply in the longer run because we are not investing, or an oversupply in the short term.” (CONTINUED - 778 WORDS)
