Kuwait is ready to get power plant project developments back on track after a hiatus due to the fractious relationship between the government and parliament (MEES, 8 February).

Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water and the government’s Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP) are preparing to tender two independent water and power producer (IWPP) projects with a combined capacity to generate 4.5GW of electricity and desalinate 1.32mn m3/d of seawater.
