The BP-led $12bn, 5 tcf West Nile Delta (WND) project has taken a major step forward with the 30 July award of a $500mn contract to London-based Subsea 7 for development of the Taurus and Libra fields that form the first WND phase.

Work involves “engineering, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning of subsea infrastructure required to develop the hydrocarbon resources from nine wells including 75km of umbilicals and 100km of pipeline,” Subsea 7 says. (CONTINUED - 312 WORDS)
