Eni this week announced the completion of a key offshore gas recovery project in partnership with Libya’s NOC through their Mellitah Oil & Gas joint venture.
Start-up procedures for the Bouri Gas Utilization Project (GUP) are now underway, Eni said on 19 October. The project will recover and process up to 100mn cfd of associated gas from the offshore Bouri oil field, located in Eni’s ‘Area D’ (previously Block NC-41), off Libya’s western coast (see map).
