Kuwait’s gas production set a new monthly record of 2.07bn cfd in June (see chart 1), and is well on track to beat last year’s annual record of 1.83bn cfd for the year as a whole. Production averaged 1.85bn cfd over the first six months of 2025, the latest Jodi figures show. With associated gas output likely to rise further as Kuwait’s crude oil production increases, the full year figure could be much closer to 2bn cfd.
