Norwegian fertilizers giant Yara on 1 March signed a “firm and binding… long-term” deal to purchase all 100,000 t/y of planned phase-1 green ammonia output from the Green Hydrogen and Chemicals (GHC) project of India’s Acme group in Duqm, Oman.

Phase 1 output of 100,000 t/y from 1GW of solar capacity is slated for 2027 (MEES, 24 March 2023). While the deal is claimed to be “long-term,” there is no specified duration.
