Belgium’s DEME has signed a provisional deal to construct a ‘HYPORT’ green ammonia export facility at Egypt’s Western Desert port of Gargoub, 350km west of Alexandria.
This would make Gargoub DEME’s third planned ‘HYPORT’, with the company having more advanced plans for a 50,000 t/y green hydrogen/ammonia project at Duqm in Oman (MEES, 20 October), as well as at Ostend in Belgium. (CONTINUED - 376 WORDS)
