Oman’s natural gas reserves stood at 24tcf (660bcm) as of end-2022 according to the newly published 2022 Annual Report from Oman’s Ministry of Energy and Minerals (MEM). The ministry says that this equates to a 7% increase versus the end-2021 figure, implying that the end-22 figure was actually somewhat higher than 24tcf and the end-21 figure somewhat lower than the stated 23tcf for a 1.6tcf increase.
