In addition to expanding overall capacity with the addition of a new CDU, expansion work includes a new 60,000 b/d vacuum distillation unit and 44,000 b/d diesel hydrotreater, as well as a revamp and expansion of the refinery’s naphtha hydrotreater, naphtha splitter and LPG treatment units. “The modernized complex will exclusively produce Euro V products,” Technip says.
