pain imported 280,000 b/d from Libya in April, the highest monthly volume since at least 2005. This made Libya Spain’s top supplier for April, though for the first four months of 2019 Nigeria was number one with 202,000 b/d as it was for 2018 as a whole (209,000 b/d). Mexico was number two with 189,000 b/d for January-April and Saudi Arabia (167,000 b/d) number three, just ahead of Libya. Saudi volumes are up 20% year-on-year in contrast to Italy where volumes are down sharply (MEES, 14 June).
