The federal Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and operators in the region re-newed their tripartite agreement covering pipeline exports to Ceyhan, Turkey. An IOC executive confirmed that the agreement has been renewed until 27 January. The renewal follows an interim agreement signed by Baghdad and Ankara allowing exports to continue for a year following the expiry of the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline (ITP) treaty last month (MEES, 7 August).
