The partners in the 120MW Jaalan Bani Bu Ali (JBB) wind project in Oman announced financial close for the facility on 11 August. The project is being developed by a consortium of EDF Power Solutions, Omani firm Al Khadra Partners, and state firm OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE).
Partners expect commercial operations to begin in 3Q 2027 under a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed last year with state offtaker Nama Power and Water Procurement (Nama PWP) (MEES, 19 December 2025).
