Adnoc Drilling, a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi state energy firm, announced record quarterly revenues in its Q2 results released this week, reporting revenues of $1.232bn, up 3% from the previous quarter.
The biggest contribution came from income generated by recent acquisitions of drilling businesses in the region. In May, the firm announced it had completed the purchase of 80% in Omani drilling firm MB Petroleum Services (MBPS) after acquiring 70% of SLB’s land drilling business in Oman and Kuwait in 2025.
