Egypt’s state gas company EGAS is looking to charter a floating storage unit (FSU) as it expands the infrastructure underpinning a rapidly growing LNG import program.
MEES understands EGAS is seeking an FSU with storage capacity of 160,000-170,000m3 for deployment at Ain Sukhna on the Red Sea or the Mediterranean coast’s Damietta port. The vessel is required for delivery during June-July and would remain under charter until at least September 2026, with options for extension by mutual agreement. (CONTINUED - 884 WORDS)
