Out of the global IOCs, TotalEnergies has the largest upstream presence in the Middle East, leading the firm to provide an update on its operations in the region that underscores the extent to which production is being shut-in.

The company says that production has been, or is in the process of being, shut down in Qatar, Iraq and the UAE’s offshore fields, and that this represents approximately 15% of its total output. The UAE is by far the largest contributor to its regional output, and TotalEnergies confirms that onshore production (around 210,000 b/d net) is unaffected by the conflict.
