Saudi Aramco began production from its Zuluf expansion project in October, the company confirmed in its Q3 results, and it expects to reach full 600,000 b/d capacity before the end of the year. The Zuluf increment was the largest component of a major series of expansion projects designed to sustain Aramco’s 12mn b/d maximum sustainable capacity (MSC), that also included the 300,000 b/d Marjan and 250,000 b/d Berri increments. The project has been commissioned on time despite the disruption caused by the regional conflict.
