Abu Dhabi state renewables firm Masdar announced on 16 January that financial close has been reached on the Ibri III project. Ibri III entails development of a 500MW solar PV facility as well as a 100MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), and is Oman’s first such integrated project (MEES, 26 September 2025).
Ibri III is being developed by Masdar alongside Al Khadra Partners, Korea Midland Power Co. Ltd (KOMIPO), and OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE). (CONTINUED - 101 WORDS)
