Oman is moving one step closer to starting work on a fourth 3.8mn t/y liquefaction train at its 11.4mn t/y Sur facility by 2029 (MEES, 7 March). The owner and operator of the facility, Oman LNG, reportedly shortlisted three contractors to submit bids to develop the train.
A grouping of Japanese firm Chiyoda and Korea’s Samsung C&T, another grouping of Italy’s Saipem and Korea’s Daewoo Engineering & Construction, and Japan’s JGC Corporation were shortlisted. (CONTINUED - 150 WORDS)
