Hong Kong-listed independent UEG said that output at its Faihaa oil field on Basra’s Block 9 (UEG 60%op, Dubai state firm Dragon Oil 30%, Egypt state EGPC 10%) has risen to a record 70,000 b/d having averaged 63,320 b/d for 2023. The latter was in turn up 9.5% on 2022.
