Saudi Arabia is fully committed to a huge renewables rollout, the country’s Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman told an industry conference in the city of Dhahran on 12 February.

The kingdom’s official target is to have 58.7GW of installed renewable capacity by 2030, but Prince Abdulaziz suggested that with strong economic growth, “we can go up to 130, 140, 150GW.
