Iraq’s Dhi Qar Oil Company (DQOC) has re-started construction of the 3.15mn barrel Nasiriya New Crude Oil Depot (NNCOD) project which will store and help evacuate crude oil from fields in the Dhi Qar and Wassit provinces.

The depot will consist of seven 450,000-barrel storage tanks with a first phase bringing on 2.52mn barrels of the 3.15mn barrel total. DQOC said on 5 June that it expects a subsidiary of Chinese state firm CNPC, China Petroleum Pipeline Company (CPP), to deliver the project by 2Q 2025. (CONTINUED - 200 WORDS)
