Algerian energy minister Mohamed Arkab used a 13 July visit to the under-construction 80,000m3/day Corso desalination plant 40km east of Algiers to call for a “speeding up” of work on the facility.
“Following the delays already seen it is necessary to speed up work so that the project is completed according to the current timeline,” Mr Arkab said. State news agency APS adds that the project will be “delivered soon” without specifying when. (CONTINUED - 130 WORDS)
