The partners at Israel’s giant 23tcf Chevron-operated (39.66%) Leviathan gas field have given the strongest indication to date that they favor expansion of the field’s capacity from 1.2bn cfd to 2.1bn cfd via an FLNG facility, this week approving the budget for a pre-FEED (Front End Engineering Design) study.

Unlike a previous abortive attempt back in 2019 at FEED on Leviathan FLNG expansion, which apparently went nowhere amid open-ended specifications, Chevron is this time being much more specific. (CONTINUED - 995 WORDS)
