Italian mini-major Eni, in its latest four-year strategic plan for 2023-26 on 23 February, announced anticipated 2023 capex of €9.5bn ($10.2bn). This is a chunky hike on the firm’s previous four-year plan which indicated €7bn/year average spending for 2022-23.
