Morocco’s state renewable energy agency Masen on 4 July launched an EPC tender for 260MW worth of solar PV projects under its long-delayed ‘Noor Atlas’ program. Masen says that eight companies or consortiums, who have already prequalified, will be able to submit bids until the 30 October deadline. Winners will be responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of plants.
The Noor Atlas EPC tender comes after Masen awarded 333MW worth of PV awards to firms including Italy’s Enel and Abu Dhabi’s Taqa in April under its Noor PV II program (MEES, 22 April). (CONTINUED - 141 WORDS)
