Egypt’s Infinity To Become Africa Renewables Leader With Lekela Purchase

The Cairo-based Infinity Group with the backing of the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has agreed the acquisition of Lekela Power “in a deal which will make Infinity Group the largest African renewable energy company.”

While headquartered in Amsterdam, Lekela is Africa-focused with its 2.8GW solar and wind project portfolio making it a renewables leader on the continent. (CONTINUED - 409 WORDS)
