Egypt Gas Imports From Israel Hit Record 720mn Cfd

Egypt imported a record 720mn cfd of gas from Israel for March according to latest Jodi data (see chart), boosting quarterly flows to a record 554mn cfd for Q1. Imports from Israel were expected to increase following the 1 March announcement by Israel’s NewMed Energy that flows via a second route, the overland Arab Gas Pipeline (AGP), had started-up (MEES, 4 March).
