Qatari export revenues are running at seven-year highs as the LNG superpower benefits from the energy price crunch. With monthly revenue figures continuing to trend upwards, there could well be further sizeable gains in Q4.

Export revenues in September rose to a three-year high of $7.70bn, and consistently high revenues in recent months ensured that Q3 as a whole rose to the highest quarterly level since 4Q 2014. Overall Q3 revenues came in at $22.74bn, up by more than $3bn on Q2 and double the Q3 2020 figure (see chart 1). (CONTINUED - 601 WORDS)
