Opec production increased by 380,000 b/d to 27.37mn b/d for September, some 3.41mn b/d higher than the same month last year as Opec+ cuts continue to be eased. The gains were driven by the ten Opec producers which are subject to cuts. Yet although they boosted output by 340,000 b/d in September, they still produced 380,000 b/d below their combined ceiling (see table 1), intensifying concerns that many producers are struggling to keep up the pace (MEES, 10 September).
