Algerian energy transition minister Ziane Ben Attou says a 1GW solar PV tender that was meant to be launched in June is now almost ready with the project’s “terms of reference to be made public in October.” The minister told parliament late last month that a tender for the project, which is set to be split across 10 provinces, would be launched by the end of the year.
