Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) this week slammed an “illegal” shipment of jet fuel to the eastern city of Benghazi from the UAE, which the state-firm says is in clear violation of “UN resolutions and Libyan laws.”
NOC says the shipment arrived on 89,000 barrel-capacity ‘Gulf Petroleum 4’, which has since sailed west and is currently off the coast of Sirte. The state oil firm says it is the only institution in Libya that is legally allowed to import such fuels. (CONTINUED - 212 WORDS)
