US crude output hit a new record 12.66mn b/d in October, up a sizeable 171,000 b/d on September’s previous record, according to the latest official monthly numbers, released 31 October. This leaves the US on track to post new record annual output of 12.25mn bd for 2019 (MEES, 20 December 2019).
