Turkey imported 0.82bcm (939mn cfd) of gas from Iran in October, the highest monthly figure since March. Volumes of 6.0bcm for the first 10 months of 2019 are down only slightly on the 6.1bcm year-ago figure. As Iran’s crude export earnings have slumped – China is the only remaining paying buyer taking a mere 132,000 b/d for November (MEES, 3 January) – Iran has become increasingly reliant on export revenue from gas and oil products (MEES, 6 December 2019).
