Algeria’s battle to halt output declines will receive a rare boost at the end of the month. Eni says output from three oil concessions situated in the southeastern North Berkine basin (Sonatrach 51%, Eni 49%) is poised to reach 10,000 b/d up from nominal amounts currently.

Kudos to Algeria. Production from the Sif Fatima II, Zemlet El Arbi and Ourhoud II concessions wasn’t expected to start until the end of 2020 (MEES, 2 November 2018), but Sonatrach (51%) and Eni managed to launch the oil phase of the project back in May. (CONTINUED - 400 WORDS)
