Abu Dhabi state firm Mubadala Petroleum finalized its production sharing contract for 40% at Thailand’s G1/61 block. Mubadala will partner Thai state firm PTTEP (60%). The PSC will begin from 2022. The partners, who initially won the award in December, are contracted to maintain production of 800mn cfd from the block’s Erewan field. This will be Mubadala’s fourth producing field in Thailand, adding to Jasmine, Manora and Nong Yao.

Mubadala also signed its Gross Split PSC for Indonesia’s South Andaman exploration asset in February, after winning the block in Indonesia’s 2018 licensing round. It also operates the adjacent Andaman I, and has a non-operating stake at Andaman II. (CONTINUED - 142 WORDS)
