The Renewable Energy Projects Development Office (Repdo) of the Saudi Ministry of Energy has issued its first requests for qualification (RFQ) for the kingdom’s National Renewable Energy Program (NREP), intended to develop 3.45GW of capacity by 2020 and 9.5GW by 2023.

Repdo has set a deadline of 10 March for the receipt of RFQ documents by means of an online procurement portal (www.powersaudiarabia.com.sa) and aims to announce prequalified bidders by 10 April. Repdo is looking to receive proposals in July. (CONTINUED - 293 WORDS)
