Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has inaugurated the $20bn, 3.2mn tons/year Sadara petrochemicals joint venture complex at Jubail on the Saudi Gulf coast. The 26-unit complex is the world’s largest integrated petrochemicals complex built in a single phase.

The ceremonies on 30 November coincided with the announcement by the Sadara partners, Saudi Aramco and US firm Dow Chemical, that they had started up the third polyethylene unit at the complex. (CONTINUED - 867 WORDS)
