Israel’s two refineries produced a combined 265,400 b/d of refined products in Q2, up 4.7% from Q1’s 253,400 b/d and up 8.5% from 2Q 2025 when the Bazan refinery was closed following a missile strike in June 2025 (MEES, 20 June 2025).
Bazan is Israel’s largest refinery, with CDU capacity of 197,000 b/d. It is located in the northern city of Haifa and accounted for the bulk of last quarter’s increase, with output rising to 186,500 b/d in Q2 from 171,400 b/d in Q1 and 159,800 b/d in 2Q 2025. Gasoline output increased by 1% from Q1 to 35,100 b/d, diesel/gasoil increased 17% to 71,900 b/d and jet fuel was up by 27% to a record 24,900 b/d (see chart 1). (CONTINUED - 610 WORDS)
